The day I felt sluggish.....

I miss dressing up to work! With the skirt and knee high boots , with the plain top and floral scarf, with the pants and high heels!

Iskandar and I have been staying at my parents' place in Leicester for the past 4 weeks. Mom & Dad are in Malaysia at the moment until the 7th Jan so we kinda taking care of Kudin. Basically since after we got back from Malaysia, we haven't been staying at our own place. Obviously I could only pack as much as I can but it doesn't seem to be enough! I've been wearing the same tops and scarves for the past 4 weeks and I think it's getting so obvious!! Our place is about 45 minutes drive from Mom's and since being pregnant, I'm not a fan of driving that much. Iskandar do go home almost every other day but I can't tell him which top or scarf that I want to wear because really it depends on my mood.

I used to get "recognition" from my colleagues almost everyday I come in to work. One of my colleague even commented that she's never seen me wearing the same top in a week or even a month! And now here I am wearing the same top over and over again!!!!!!!!! I hate this. I don't need to buy new tops because I've got loads at home. I just miss getting up and spend hours in front of the wardrobe trying to choose a top & a scarf. Now it's like I wake up and I can get dressed in 5 minutes because I haven't got any other choice on what to wear. Pfft.

Although Mummy & Daddy's coming back on the 7th Jan, I don't think we'll be going back to Coventry because Mom wouldn't allow me to drive to work. Since my workplace is closer to Mom's it's easier for us to stay there until my maternity leave. I don't mind this but I just want my wardrobe!!! I've got loads of nice scarves to choose from if I were to wear plain tops but now all I've got is plain tops and my scarves are also plain ones.

On a different note, we are still looking for a house in Leicester because my Hospital, GP and workplace are in Leicester. We've put an application with a company but it's taking forever for them to reply back! They're so fussy when all we want is just to rent to house! Not even buying a house! They're asking reference from my workplace and also my previous workplace. Like whtever for? We're hoping & praying that they'll reply back a.s.a.p! I want to move and just be settled before baby pops out and bare in mind, THAT'S NOT LONG TO GO!!!!!!!

Sorry about the moaning and groaning, I'm at work and it's a SUNDAY! Blegh blegh.

Anywayssssssss,

HAPPY AWAL MUHARRAM to everyone and Insha'Allah we'll be blessed with all the goodness in life! Amin.

The things that can make me *wekkk*

I found out that the only thing that could make me *vomit* is anything that's sour. For instance assam boi, lemon, lime.. you get the point here right? hehe Like I said before, I did not go through the most talked about "morning sickness" whereby you'll throw up first thing in the morning and if you're very unlucky, it could continue throughout the day!

At 14 weeks pregnant, Alhamdulillah I've only vomitted TWICE! The first was when I was at KLIA. Just before passing through the custom desk I threw up like nobody's business. I saw everything that I ate that whole day!!!! Not a nice view. It's even worse that our journey was 14 hours long!!!!! Well, the reason I threw up on that day was because my tummy was upset and everyone said to have Assam Boi as it'll soothe my nauseos. So I did. Approximately 10 minutes after that my throat just gave way and I couldn't even get to the nearest toilet! So from then on I know not to eat anymore Assam Boi.

Past few days I've been down with terrible cough + cold. Iskandar made Honey & Lemon drink as being pregnant there's limited medication I can consume. Straight after I had that glass of drink I went straight to the sink and vomitted it all out!!!!!! So, then I know that baby hates "masam" things. Then later on I only drank warm Honey drink.

Above all, I'm still down with terrible cold and all I want now is to pop at least 1 antihistamine!!!!!!!

The day BUMP turned 13 weeks......

I'm feeling tad bit paranoid!

I think my baby bump's so much bigger than it should be. I'm only in my 13th week and people are already noticing the bump. Yes, I am proud that I'm pregnant but I'm just scared that I'm putting on too much weight. I kept telling Iskandar about it and of course he's my husband and he'd tell me that it looks normal and it's not big. But hmmm, I don't know. I just feel HUGE!

Have any of you got a picture of a 3rd month pregnancy? I've been googling but of course the "mat sallehs" have bigger body frame than Asians, so their bump looks bigger than mine. Sometimes when I goggle the picture I see that their bump is as big as mine, THAT'S NOT GOOD! A colleague of mine gave birth to a baby boy which weigh 4kg! I think that's BIG!

Any kind people out there that would like to share baby bumps with me to make me feel at ease? I would really appreciate your replies!

Ps: It doesn't help that my next appointment with my Midwife is when I'm 20 weeks pregnant!!!!! That's just a long wait!!

The day we turned ONE!!!!

We are 1 year old today!

And baby's healthily growing in my tummy while we celebrate our love for each other.

I love you Iskandar and you know the rest of it It's been 365 (minus the 7 days u had to wait for your Visa to be approved) days with your love and touch. We have never slept in a separate bed/duvet. Even when we are stuck in a single bedded room, you'd still prefer sleeping on the same bed and in the same duvet with me even though it's very uncomfrtable for you. I love how you try really hard to become a really good husband. The one that would satisfy his wife first before himself. And you obviously know that I will always do the same for you (if I larat, kan?). I cherish all the time we spent together and also the time when you waited with me outside the toilet to find out whether I'm pregnant or not, the DRs visit that you'd never fail to come with me. Above all, I secretly love how you clasp my hand and hug me to sleep. You'd always make sure that you are always close to me and if I start moving about while sleeping you'll grab me straight away and soothe me back to sleep. Sayang, I love you and no words could ever describe my love for you.

Ps: Baby says he/she loves you too! And baby also loves it when you communicate with him/her through Mummy's tummy!

Lots and lots of love, hugs & kisses,
Wifey

The day I had my first craving......

First crave: SUSHI!!!!!!!

Ooooh my god, why of all food the food that I'm not allowed to eat is the food that I'm craving the most! But lucky me, I don't believe in cravings, so whatever you feed me, I'd gladly eat. :) Mummy keep reminding me to eat when I'm hungry and don't over eat. She also said that I don't need to eat for "two" because my baby is taken care by the Angels (so he/she have all the nutrients). All I have to do is read the Holy Quran to soothe the baby and even to help baby feel at peace. I think that's the best advise I've got from anyone. Most peple would be asking me to eat as much as I can because I'm pregnant! I mean seriously, at this point I don't think I should because the baby is only pear-sized. If I were to overeat, it'll nly jeopradise my health because I'm tiny. So, I'm still having my meals as normal. Sometimes I even skip my meal because I'm too tired to eat. Alhamdulillah everything's still well in there. To you Mom-to-be out there, make sure you take this advise as not to eat so much as it'll only make u fat & worse, takes forever for you to lose the baby weight.

Anyway, I'm kinda hungry now, so I better get something to eat.hehehe And yeah, it's dinner time for me now. :p
